Tree roots entering at cracked or separated lateral joints
Why it happens here
Roots seek moisture and can enter small openings at joints or cracks. Once inside, they catch paper and debris, gradually narrowing the line. A repeated blockage after clearing often means the opening remains, so the same symptoms return.
Our approach
We inspect the line to identify root locations and check the surrounding pipe for damage. After cutting the intrusion, we explain whether the joint needs a spot repair, lining, or replacement. Removing roots without addressing a defective entry point is not treated as a complete repair.
